The University of Washington is a leader in sustainability, recognized by both the Princeton Review’s Green Honor Roll and the College Sustainability Report Card with an A-. With zero-waste as its ultimate goal, the UW’s Housing and Food Services leads the composting movement with all-compostable serviceware and disposables. Everything from those brown forks and spoons, soup lids, straws, take-out containers, and Coke fountain cups are all compostable.
